The short version: we collect what we need to get a saree to you, we share it with the people who make that happen and nobody else, and we never sell it.

What we collect

**When you order:** your name, delivery address, email address and phone number. Your phone number is needed because international couriers ask for one.

**When you make an account:** the above, plus a password, which we store only as a bcrypt hash. We cannot read it.

**When you contact us or write a review:** what you send us, and your email address so we can reply.

**When you browse:** a cookie to remember your bag and your wishlist. If analytics are switched on, they load **only after you accept the consent banner** — decline and no analytics cookie is set.

**Payment card details never reach our servers.** They go directly to our payment provider.

Why we have it, and who sees it

**Our supplier in Tamil Nadu** receives your name, delivery address and phone number, because they pack and dispatch your parcel directly to you. This is the core of how the shop works and cannot be opted out of while still receiving a saree.

**Our payment providers** handle your payment.

**Our email provider** delivers your order confirmation and dispatch notice.

**Customs authorities** receive the declaration attached to your parcel.

That is the complete list. We do not sell your data, we do not share it for advertising, and we do not pass it to anyone else.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for bookkeeping. Accounts are kept until you delete them. Contact inquiries are kept so we can follow up.

Your choices

**Delete your account** from the account page at any time. We remove the account, your saved address, your wishlist and your newsletter subscription. Order records are retained but anonymised — we have to keep the financial record, but it stops being attached to you.

**Unsubscribe** from any newsletter email, or ask us.

**Ask us what we hold** about you, or ask us to correct or delete it. Use the contact page.

Cookies

• A bag cookie, so your bag survives the trip to checkout
• A wishlist cookie, so saved sarees are still there next time
• A session cookie when you log in
• A security token cookie that protects forms from cross-site request forgery
• Analytics cookies **only if you accept them**

The first four are needed for the shop to work at all.

Children

This shop is not intended for children and we do not knowingly collect their data.
