Where we ship

We ship to street addresses in the United States. Your saree is dispatched directly by our supplier in Tamil Nadu, India — we do not hold stock, and nothing is reshipped through a middle warehouse.

Cost

Flat **$15 per order**, whatever the order contains. It is shown at checkout before you pay.

How long it takes

Your saree travels from Tamil Nadu to your address by international post. Transit time varies with the carrier, the season and how quickly customs clears the parcel, so **plan for a few weeks rather than a few days**.

We do not publish a guaranteed delivery date. We would rather set an expectation we can meet than promise one that customs can make us miss. If you need a saree in hand for a particular date, write to us before you order and we will tell you honestly whether it is realistic.

Customs and duty

You are the importer of record. US Customs may charge duty on textile imports, and any such charge is payable by you on delivery, separately from what you paid us.

We declare every parcel at its true value. **We will not under-declare a parcel and we will not mark an order as a gift**, whatever the reason given. Those are customs offences and we will not commit one on anyone's behalf.

Dispatch

Orders are placed with our supplier by hand, usually the same or next working day. Remember that Indian business hours run roughly nine and a half to twelve and a half hours ahead of the United States, so an order placed on a US evening is actioned the following Indian morning.

Tracking

Once dispatched you get a tracking number by email. If you have an account it also appears in **My Orders**. Guests can use the order lookup linked in the footer.

International tracking often takes two or three days to begin showing movement. That is normal.

Undeliverable parcels

If a parcel is returned to the supplier because the address was wrong or nobody could take delivery, we will contact you. Re-dispatch is charged at cost.
