We are a business in India selling to customers in the United States. Your saree is dispatched from India.

Prices and payment

Prices are in **US dollars** and shown inclusive of nothing else — shipping is added at checkout and any customs duty is separate and payable by you on delivery.

We take payment at the time of order. An order is not accepted until payment clears, and we may decline or cancel an order at our discretion, refunding you in full.

Prices can change without notice, but never after you have placed an order.

The sarees

Every saree is a handloom or powerloom textile from a small workshop. Slubs, small irregularities in the weave, minor variation in stated length and slight color differences from the photographs are characteristics of the material, not defects.

The product photographs are our supplier's, used with their permission. We do not retouch them. No screen renders silk exactly.

We describe each saree from the attributes our supplier records, and we do not claim more than those support. Where we cannot verify something — the precise composition of the zari is the usual case — we say so rather than guess in either direction.

Stock

We do not hold stock. Sarees are sourced to order from our supplier, and a listed piece can occasionally be unavailable by the time we place the order. If that happens we will tell you, offer alternatives, and refund in full if none suits.

Delivery

See the shipping policy. In short: we ship to the United States, flat $15, and we have not fixed a guaranteed delivery window. You are the importer of record for customs purposes.

Returns, refunds and cancellation

See the returns and refunds policy and the cancellation policy. Nothing in these terms affects rights you have under applicable consumer law.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your password to yourself and for what happens under your account. Tell us if you think it has been compromised.

You may delete your account at any time from the account page. Order records are retained for bookkeeping but anonymised.

Reviews and anything you submit

Reviews are read before they appear. We may decline to publish anything abusive, fraudulent, off-topic or unlawful. By submitting a review you let us display it on the site.

Intellectual property

The product photographs belong to our supplier and are used with their permission. The site's text, design and code are ours. Do not republish either without asking.

Liability

Nothing here excludes liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Subject to that, our liability for any order is limited to what you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss — for example a saree arriving too late for an event, when the delay was in the post or at customs rather than with us.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version on the site when you order is the version that applies to that order.
